GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WZZM) -- Grocery shopping is about to get a little easier in West Michigan.
The Meijer in Cascade is expanding its curbside services, and you have a chance to try it out for free. Meijer announced the expansion to eight stores in Michigan and Ohio.
Meijer Curbside began six months ago at the Knapp's Corner store as a pilot program that quickly took off.
Starting this week, people can order their groceries and other items online, drive to the store and pick-up the order at the curb. The service will cost $4.95 per order, but that fee will be waived for the first month.
