Frederik Meijer Gardens' 2011 Summer Concert Series gets bigger, better

Frederik Meijer Gardens' 2011 Summer Concert Series gets bigger, better

Written by Lindsay Patton

The recent addition of 200 seats to Frederik Meijer Gardens' amphitheater promised that the venue would be bigger this year.

Today's announcement of the 2011 summer concert lineup completes the bigger + better equation.

The 2011 lineup, announced today, is better than ever, featuring some of the biggest and most diverse acts in the series' nine years. While still hosting the venue's signature adult contemporary acts such as k.d. Lang and Lyle Lovett, FMG has booked popular indie acts such as Bright Eyes, The Mountain Goats, and Guster, well-known in the college circuit.
