Ada and Cascade offer fall clean-up day | Environment

Ada and Cascade Townships are offering a fall clean-up day. The fall clean-up day will be held on Saturday, October 13 from 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Kent County Road Commission building at the end of Fase Street in Ada Township.

Residents of Ada and Cascade Townships are welcome to bring trash, household items or yard waste. Appliances are welcome, however, the Freon must be removed

prior to dropping the appliance off or you may be charged.  You should bring your driver’s license to provide your residency.

No household hazard waste products or tires will be accepted. For household hazardous waste and tire disposal, please contact the Kent County Department of Public Works at 336-2570.

In The Image will have a truck available at Leonard Field for the collection of household goods and Shred Docs will have a truck available for document shredding.
