Making Medical Decisions Ahead of Time

Making Medical Decisions Ahead of Time
Trying to make the best medical decisions for ourselves or someone we love can be overwhelming.
As a doctor and daughter, Dr. Colleen Tallen is intimately familiar with this journey. Colleen has walked with thousands of patients and their loved ones as they explored and discovered what medical choices were right for them. Combining her medical expertise and the personal stories of those she has helped, this guide takes a complicated, sometimes scary, topic and empowers us with simple straightforward talk for making medical decisions that fit who we are and what we want.

Dr. Tallen has written the book "Decide While You Can" and will be at Keystone Pharmacy at 4021 Cascade Rd.

GR Triathlon is back for 3rd year

GR Triathlon is back for 3rd year

The communities of Ada and Cascade will open their streets for the Grand Rapids Triathlon for a third year.  The triathlon is scheduled for Sunday, June 9th.  The event is open for athletes from beginners to advanced triathletes.

Organizers say the Grand Rapids Triathlon was chosen for the second year in a row as the one and only Talent ID race in Michigan.  This puts the youth participating in this event on the radar for the next US Olympic Triathlon Team.  This triathlon has also been chosen as the first event in the season for the Mideast Collegiate Triathlon circuit, which means thousands of college level athletes will be participating.
