Boy on bike injured in car collision
GRAND RAPIDS TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WZZM) -- A six year-old boy is recovering after he was hit by a car in Grand Rapids Township.
The accident happened around 5 p.m. Monday in the 700 block of Greenbrier Dr. SE near Cascade Road.
Deputies say the boy was riding his bike on the down-slope of his driveway and rolled into the path of an oncoming car.
The driver did not have a chance to stop.
The boy suffered non-life threatening injuries.
Deputies say he was not wearing a helmet.
