Lowell teen killed in head-on crash
ADA TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WZZM) -- An 18-year-old Lowell woman is dead following a two-vehicle accident in Ada Township.
It happened around 5:50 p.m. Monday on Pettis Avenue at Conservation St. NE.
Deputies say Cara Lynn Cook was driving her 2002 Chevrolet Cavalier north on Pettis when she lost control of her car. The Cavalier crossed into oncoming traffic, hitting a 2004 Land rover LR4 driven by Kimberly Stubbard of Ada.
Cook was killed in the collision. Stubbard and her juvenile passenger suffered minor injuries.
Investigators say all people involved in the collision were wearing seatbelts.
