CASCADE TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WZZM) - Animal regulations could be changing in Cascade Township.

The township's current zoning ordinance says Cascade residents can own one animal for every three acres in a residential zone. Township officials say they want the Township Board to reconsider the logic of the zoning rules.

Residential zones also allow on additional animal for each additional acre more than three.

Officials have agreed to refer to the matter to the Planning Commission for review.
