Registration is open for a new walk and run in Ada

Registration is open for a new walk and run in Ada

ADA, MI - Registration is now "open" for the Inaugural Grand River Run, which is an 8K & 1.5 Mile Family Fun Run/Walk.  The Ada Township Parks & Recreation Department is hosting the Inaugural Grand River Run at Roselle Park on Saturday, September 29, 2012.

There are two start times.  An 8K professionally-timed race takes runners on a 5-mile scenic journey over streams, through woodlands, thickets and restored prairie meadows at 240-acre nature preserve, Roselle Park. The race consists of nearly equal parts paved and off-road trail racing and offers runners beautiful, panoramic views of the Grand River throughout most of the route. The paved portion is flat and fast.

The 8K will be followed by a 1.5 Mile Family Fun Run/Walk at 10:15 a.m.  This Run/Walk course is 100% paved and flat, and offers a great tour of Roselle Park and the Grand River.
